Ingalls Problem

Is anyone else's Ingalls making a squeaking noise when you are kinda harsh on it? I really notice when I am moving and go back into first gear (which usually isn't smooth) and it makes this horrible metal:metal noise. The gasket was between the damper and the brace as the instructions say. It worked just fine the first time I put it on. Then I took it off to tighten it up because I was still getting wheel hop and then this started.

Yeah the fit is perfectly straight. Its like the damper itself compresses whenever it gets under stress, which should not do consindering that defeats its purpose.

It should compress a little..cause I think the idea is to take some of the initial shock when mainly shifting. So it should move some but not a lot
