I started a thread on this before i wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem.

When i start my car most of the time it is in the morning, my car idles weird after i start driving. When i drive and then come to a stop or take it out of gear the idle will drop to almost a stall and then up to 1500 and then back to normal. I took my car to GM they replaced the PCM and flashed it with a new program that is supposed to have fixed that. It seems that it is only in the morning or when i have my air on. I dont know what the problem could be.

I was thinking of MAF cleaner and new spark plugs maybe a proffesional tune?

I just wanted to know if anyone else has this happen and what they did to fix it.

hey my superbalt does the same thing, iv only had it about a month now and everymorning it starts and the rpm surges and drops several times before smoothing out and keeping a constant rpm, and mine to has done the rpm drop to almost a stall at red lights. it will drop and pop back up and go to regular idle, being that iv only had mine a few weeks i havent taken it in yet, i wasnt sure what it was but now that iv read this i certainly will lol and ill let ya know how my repair goes.

 

Yea i am going to try the plugs and the maf cleaner and see if that works i just want to know if anyone found a fix for this b/c it is pretty annoying

 

Try doing a cleaning for carbon build up, my car was bad to the point it stalled at every stop, took to the dealer cleaned out the manifold, combustion chambers and injectors, and swapped out anemissions fuse and no problem since.

I switched plugs, maf, o2 sensors wouldnt work.
