you should use a wet shot a mix of fuel and nitrous that would be the safe way, and then a window switch which only allow the nitrous to turn on at WOT. as far a brand I have only worked with NX. as far a tuning I don't think you should need it with a 75 shot maybe go two steps colder on the plugs and you should be good.

my 75 shot is on a msd widow switch and i run 89 octane. the comp will pull timing when you spray. i run higher octane to curb knock. it's advised to get 2 step colder plugs and run 91 octane when you spray. that sounds like overkill when the engine already cuts back on timing.

your mani is fine just don't spray under 3000rpm and your good.

the manifold on all cobalts is plastic.

anyway, a list.

tank, lines, solinoids, basic switch, nozzles. this should call come in a decent kit.

a lot of folks suggest a window switch and a dead man switch.

the window switch only lets it spray between certain RPM like, 3000-6000

and the dead man or WOT switch is so that it only fires when you've got your foot on the floor.

If thats the video i think it is, its only because his window switch failed and dumped alot of fuel/n2o before launch.

i love how everyone makes reference to that vid and blame the mani when the owner clearly stated his window switch failed.

You don't say?!?!?! Yeah, I'm sure he wasn't very careful...what a *******...

As to a 2.4 manifold same as 2.2 but just that it's not 2 pieces glued together but 1 solid piece. Wouldn't have mattered even if it was a sheet metal intake manifold.

i still think the manifold absorbed some of the impact, if it were a metal manifold, forget it, blast would have cracked the block for sure.

Yes, it did absorb some of the impact. Would it have cracked the block? Not likely, probably would have split the piston in half though.

As for seeing the video over and over, I honestly don't care. I get a kick out of...especially when it's been viewed like 129,000 times and I go to racing events or around town and people come up and ask if it's me or we get on the subject of racing and then they realize that it was me and we have a good laugh. I still find the whole thing horribly funny and it's only allowed me to move on the much better things for those of you that know what's now happening with my car...

those that reach for the stars never fall short my friend. they land on clouds like you did and now you're that much closer to the 2.2 monster that we all wish we had.
