Job help?!?!

I live in Beaverton/Portland area and I work as a cashier at FredMeyers. I hate my job sooo much because all of the customers are retards and it's plain boring!
I need to find a better job, but I don't know where to apply at? Any ideas where i should apply at? I'm 18 and make 8.45 an hour and it just doesn't cut it.

I plan on going to PSU or OSU next fall so I might go back to FredMeyers during school because it's easy and hours are flexible

Thanks

well I've been working at FredMeyers the last year and a half. Before I was a cashier I was a parcel(cart pusher/cleaned up FredMeyers). So I'm not afraid to work hard. I was think of working at a dealership and cleaning their cars.

If i lived over there i'd be able to help ya more. I would try retail stores, pharmacys pay well [as an assistant] and banks are good ideas. If you have mechanical skills try a Jiffy Lube type place or ask for something at a local dealership. I would def try to put as many applications as possible. I know how hard it is to find a job.

If you're going to be going to school soon I have heard UPS is a good company to work for when you're a student. They don't pay much more than your job now, but you get like tuition money, book money, etc I've heard from others who worked for them.
