Recent pic of my 2006
Thanks! I pulled off the rear spoiler after seeing a Shelby GT (Mustang) at the dealer with the spoiler delete.
It's the 4.0L V6, with 5 speed. I've done a tune, CAI, alum DS, 7.5" 4.10's & t-lok, LCA's, UCA, k-member/torque limiters, and duals using GT take-off parts. Best 60' on DR's is 1.932 (stock clutch too), and my best ET is 14.475 @94.95.
Plans this winter include a SPEC 2 clutch and alum flywheel, dyno tune, and maybe a few other things.
Thanks for the warm reception guys! I uploaded some pics to my gallery, so you can look there too.
The duals really don't offer any HP gains versus a single aftermarket muffler (or GT take-off muffler in my case). The duals just look better IMO. I also had an on-road GT x-pipe fitted at the same time, so I've retained my cats. Dual are most helpful when going FI, but NA the gains are within the margin of error on a dyno.
The DR's certainly helped my 60' times. My best on street tires had been 2.18. With those M&H Racemasters, I've cut several 1.93's. I think my stock clutch is keeping me from dropping it any lower.
I thought about lowering it, but I like the road manners and look at stock height (old school). Plus I like having a subdued look on this car. The hood stripes (check gallery) are almost a ghost stripe, even though they are vinyl. The car flies under the radar, yet I get people coming up to me saying "there's something about your car, but I can put my finger on it" (it's the DR's, IMO). I'm thinking about getting a pair of matching 17x8" Ford Bullitts and having them narrowed to 4-5" so I can run skinnies up front at the track. But it will cost about $800, which is money I'd rather put into the clutch/flywheel. I may also upgrade to a GT take-off 8.8" rear axle. Rotor-to-rotor assemblies can be had for as little as $500 with 3.31:1 gears, with higher prices for 3.55's, 3.73's, or 4.10's.
Thanks again guys!
EDIT: gallery pics are fixed.

sweet car my last car was a 05 v6 windveil blue automatic. i loved it but it just wasnt for me being a automatic everyone hated the color and i loved it and i would stay less than a length away from my friend irl till 75 mph plus i would love to just romp on it and feel that torquey v6 if it was manual and i actually had modding money i would of kept it
nice car you have most of the mods i was going to do to mine i had the spoked rims with the spinners plus i loved the seats because of the mustang written like intervened with eachother nice car plus rep. I also thought that the mustang crowd is to cocky. i posted pics of my ss on my old forum and they were nothing but jerks so now i raced a couple gts from there and they deff changed there thought!
OK - Here's a quick shot (I'll edit more into this post)

Here's one of my wife's vert (4.0L/auto):

I don't know the exact specs on the KR, but it's pretty bad-ass. There is a Super Snake option as well that puts out a BUNCH of HP (I think it's 700, but I'm not 100% sure on that). That latter option can actually be retro-fitted to existing GT500's at the Shelby plant in Las Vegas, which is ironic since the GT500 is built by Ford, not Shelby.
Very cool times indeed.
Currently, there are two turbo set-ups available for 4.0L's (PowerHouse & Force4), with the STS unit about ready to launch. With boost in the mid-teens and a 75 shot, my buddy rygenstormlocke ran 10.9's with his V6 (>500rwhp on a built block). He ran 11's with the factory short block. Dual power adders are tough on any motor, but these 4.0L's do NOT like high boost and a shot. Still, 12's and high 13's are pretty common for turbo 4.0L's.
There are several options for superchargers too. Although it's not CURRENTLY intercooled, I like the X-Charger by Explorer Express. It sounds MEAN! Once the intercooler is done, an X-4.0L should be good for over 300rwhp.
For me, I'll be staying NA. I'd like to get into the high 13's staying NA, but I'm not sure I wanna go through the epxense to get there. I am VERY happy with the car's road manners, and I'd hate to sacrifice that for the sake of a few more ponies.
EDIT: Interesting - the format here automatically merged my posts together in a single post!
