I was trying to change my stock antenna to a shorter aftermarket one and throught the process the threads on the part on the car got stripped and cant get anything back on it. Is there a replacement stud to use or have i just fucked myself?

there probably is a replacement stud for it. but just go to your dealer and tell them you took it off to go through a car wash and now it wont go back on

Or you could just put a little black nub over it, and just use your XM! Thats all you need anyways...

I would use his suggestion because you would still want your antenna in case you decide to sell or if XM (God forbid because I love XM) ***** up and goes bankrupt or something crazy like that.

if you do decide to use my suggestion make sure your car is clean when you go in to the dealer or it may look a little fishy to them

It was a little rubber knob from something, i don't know what. It was just kicking around the garage, so i drilled a slightly smaller- than- antenna- hole in it, and hand screwed it on.
