2005 Cobalt Stock Intake Wanted

I need the stock intake for my 2005 cobalt. Its the base model vehicle. If you have the intake for sale please post pics of it. It has to be the 05 intake because after that they changed the air cleaner around and it will not work for my car. Thanks

I have an 06 not sure if how much they have changed or how late your 05 is that it may be the same as an 06? My car was made in Feb of 06. If you got a picture of what it needs to look like I can take a look at mine and see if it matches for you. Let me know

Hello, well i'm pretty sure it has to specifically be an 05. I work at a salvage yard and i bought this cobalt wrecked and we don't have any intakes that are good at work. I would take a picture of mine but it was completly smashed up from the accident. But what i noticed to be different from the 05 intakes was a vacuum line that runs off of the air cleaner. The 05 box has a smaller line and the 06 has a longer larger line. But if you guys can post pics up of the intake i would be able to tell. I do need a complete intake all the way to the throttle body because mine was completely obliterated. Thanx

I have the entire thing. Let me try and find some pics for you.

EDIT:

This was the only picture I could find on hand but you can not really see just the intake itself. I will have to find it in the garage and get some additional pictures of it by itself.

you need one that does not have the SAI line. some 06's don't have sai, some do. as long as it doesn't have sai it's exactly the same.

Don't put the lower piece of the intake in the car=better sound+better throttle response

My car is an 06 LS built in Feb and does not have the SAI. They began doing that later in the year. If what D4u2s0t said is true than mine should work perfectly
