My winterized Cobalt ss/sc

Finally got them on after a little snowstorm yesterday, got a wicked deal, if anyone from ontario is familiar with cheap thrills, i got used pirelli 210 snowsports 215/55/16 with lots of tread left, and a set of 16 inch unknown brand rims, rims were sitting in stock for about a year, buddy redrilled them to 5x110 for a saab guy but never came to get them, so his loss my gain!

$510 CDN CASH!
such a wicked deal, i was looking at crappier tires and black steel rims for almost a grand with tax

I got the same thing, steelies with BFG Winter slaloms. Bad handling, but vastly improved cruising comfort. I feel like I could ride up on sidewalks and I wouldn't feel it!

Dude, they're winter wheels...they're gonna oxidize anyway. Those centre caps won't last more than one season before the coating starts to flake off. When that happens, THEN paint them

Not a chance, the tires themselves weigh a ton. In fact they may be heavier than the wheels!!!!!! I wish TireRack would include that info when you order tires...the weight. Not that it'd matter, grip is more important than weight, but still it'd be nice to know.

Probably the nicest looking "winterized" Cobalt I've seen yet

Those wheels like similar to the old Impala/Monte Carlo rims:

Except the Impala spokes aren't flat - they curve in like a ZR1 rim.

I'm sorry that I said Mallet. I meant Callaway...
