But Since The Neon Srt4 Is Cheaper And All That What Would All U Guys Dooo I Dont Wanna Give Up On The Balt But Srt's Are So Nice.. Idk=[ Any Input

 

i had an srt4,from my point of view..its a better bang for the buck car

 

Keep the Balt and go turbo.... I love blow off.... But im addicted to whine...

 

id hardly say srt-4's are SO NICE. they come with a turbo from the factory...aannd thats just about it thats appealing.

becareful when looking into this because they are no faster than us stock and yea they "can" be faster but a stage 3 kit with toys is like 3800 and there stage 2 is around 260hp and thats like 2800..i got my full exhaust,intake,2.7 60pounders with belt,one step colder plugs,cai intake,ssc springs,and a cobra heat exchanger with money to get tinted when i got my 2000 bonus.. and that is looking good and sitting around 260

 

the nicest thing about the srt4 is the engine has been known to hold 500hp stock ie. no internal mods.

altho all that has to be swaped in the ss are pistions, everything in the engine is good to about 400+ acording to gm. but your not going to see above 300hp with the stock supercharger.

as for now the srt4 wins ,
but im inlove with the supercharged sound,and feel.
so im gonna wait till next year when the tvs comes out.that with some fordged pistons and cooling mods and we sould be able to hang with most normal srt-4s

 

I've never been a fan of the srt-4's looks , but if you only care about performance the srt is the way to go, no question .

 

I'll keep my POWER windows thank you.

if you procharge your balt you can have a blow off valve. just some fyi

i'm sure you could install power rear windows in an srt-4. they do have power front windows

 

ya , but there are cheap turbo upgreads for the srt-4($1000-$1700) as for now the cobalt is kinda stuck with what it has .or we dish out over 3k for a not that impressive twinscrew of turbo setup.

i was there from 11 to 4 , only got 3 runs in. i saw a few ss's out there some from god speed , there was a black one behind me on my last run , but i didnt get a chance to talk to them becasue i was trying to calm my GF down becasue she was freaking out about her bad runs.

 

I'm sure someone does make a power window rear kit for the srt

That is just plain stupid to not put pwr windows in the back. Who ever designed that is an idiot. Oh I did forget that the Germans own Chrysler soooo

 

actually, you could get one for $19,500 new. (no power rear windows was for weight savings. engineers would kill someone to save 10 lbs.)

 

i was the black one with the high rise spoiler. i only got 2 runs in, i was so pissed that they let those ******* race cars keep going...about 10 of them broke ,pieces of ****...that viper was insane though.

my best was a 13.9, i have stg2 and intake. im buddies with godspeed, but not in it.

i think i saw your car. my best was 14.00 @101 im still afried to lanch the car hard.
she didnt do to well in the redline. her bast over the summer was 15.2 @93 , but i think she was bogging due to the track being so sticky, then once the car got into boost it would spin thro 1st wich resulted in 15.7 15.8 @93 and 94 i need to teach her what feathering the clutch is.... and i didnt see the ms3 run sunday but if it was the black one then i saw him run the other night, he said his best is 13.6 but i havent seen faster that a 14.2 out of him. ....and just so this isnt a total thred jack..

id keep the ss/sc and wait for the tvs to come out just to be diffrent ...lol
