New Plugs, Same old Spark blowout?

I just got new plugs the other day from Cobalt-Addiction (NGK Coppers). They came pre-gapped to about .041-.042. After installation I noticed how nice and smooth acceleration is under WOT. Worth my 15$. Tonight however while stepping on it (still trying to run it hard to see if Im getting spark blowout still) I got to about 6100rpm and the car falls on its face for a second and then keeps going. I'm assuming this is spark blowout correct?

I have noticed it only seems to happen on colder days (in which I make more boost, sometimes upwards of 17.5psi). My question is, do you guys think this is spark blow out? And would decreasing gap would help, right?

For your guys info: my stock plugs were gapped from .035-.037. My mods are in my sig and I live in charleston, SC at pretty much sea level.

Are you running a oiled air filter? If so I suspect a dirty maf sensor. I was running a 2.5" pulley ngk plugs gapped to 035" and never any blow out issues.

My plugs cause my car to do the same thing. I assume its from the richness of my stage 2 tune.

Littlegoose, my car hated the .040 gap in Charleston. Regap the plugs to .035 and you should be straight.
