Mine never re-learned or went away. So if you end up like me a tune is the only thing that can fix it.

SEARCH button. been discussed almost daily. make sure everything is tight, and if it's tight, maf is in correctly, delete the code and call it a day. almost EVERYONE gets that code at one point or time.

a tune will probably run you a couple hundred. depending on where you go. i would advise you to find someone with hptuners. have you tried resetting the ecu? i would try that first. works for some people. never worked on mine though lol. so i'm stuck with having to get a tune to make it go away. it's not going to hurt your car in anyway so don't worry too much about it. it's just getting more air than it's used to so it's throwing a code. i have the fujita cai, but same thing..same code.

if you just ahve a CAI, i woldnt waste the money on a tune, IMO. I'd wait until you have some more mods. tuning isnt cheap

intake doesn't/won't/can't void you warrenty. and it takes 5 minutes to put the stock on in case you're nervous and have to take it to the dealer.

there's no need for a tune, it's a waste of money with just an intake.

welcome to the world of modifying Cobalts. We have the most finicky ECU ever made IMO. My engine mods consist of an AEM CAI, CA header, XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe and an ARK N2 cat-back, and when my dealer hooked up the scanner, I have 11 codes thrown. But owell, I daily drive it with 11 codes with no problems. I'll take care of it with HP Tuners whenever I come up with the money, lol.

It'll go away. Don't worry. Your ECU will relearn the new fuel maps.
