keep in mind that a 5-60 run is gonna be slower than a 0-60 run. People never seem to realize that. They think b/c since they are already at 5mph, they are gonna be quicker to 60 than if they were at a dead stop.

Read Car and Driver, Motor Trend or R&T's test data for any car and you'll see what im talking about.

That being said, I personally like the SRT-4 Caliber. Consdiering its direct competition is an HHR SS and MS3, I think it fits well in that group, as they are all funky styled turbo wagons.

Plus, it'd kick my cars ass any day.

the 5-60 or "street start" tests are a forced "clutch out" test, to show the real world acceleration.
that is the reason they are slower from 5-60, as the car is low in the powerband, and not at its peak.

a 5-60 will be faster than a 0-60 if the clutch is used correctly.

sounds good though. I agree about the gauges. U would htink they would know that since the car its self is ugly as hell. They should at least give it a good interior

AGREED 2X...I replayed it and his time was 7 seconds minimum, I started the video counter at 6 seconds and he said 60 at like 13-14 seconds into the video.

Caliber SRT-4= complete failure. Why wouldn't they keep the Neon SRT-4!?

I loved and still love the NEON SRT4...it's great bang for the buck... but, it's out of production and they are not going to run a production line for 1 niche market car

the Caliber SRT4 is a huge disappointment to me
