i have the intense stage 3, and i have an exhaust with removable baffle. "it seems" when i take the baffle out the mid range accelaration is sluggish, and when the baffle is in it seems to have more power, could this be a back pressure problem, or is it a fuel problem that just happens to come around when i take out the baffle, damn gremlins, lol, help.

no it is a peice that looks kinda like the end of a trumpet, that bolts in the end,inside the muffler tip

 

So what is the purpose of the baffle? I've never heard of that before. Sorry for all the questions; you're the one with the question after all.

 

yeah your losing back pressure that baffle is to quiet your car down a bit
