Want to start spending money

im driving a 06 ss sc and i havent done anything to it yet, bought a house and the car in the last year but this year i want to start spending money on the car and i want to know what i can put on the car to get the most HP out of this engine, ive read lots of the threads but dont know how much we can get out of this car without strarting to tear down the internals(what is the max), if anybodys got a list of parts that i can put on for most gain let me know.

Ordering stage 2 a christmas and cold air intake

If you want the most gain, do a turbo swap.

Yeah.........$5000+ later and you will have a turbo.

Bang for buck.......you are heading the right way with the Stage II and the CAI. Get exhaust as well.....you are bringing more air in......got let it go somewhere!

Make sure you come out to the meets in the spring and summer to check out what can be done!

You can increase your gains, and avoid paying gm to install on your car by skipping past stage 2, and buying a kit with 60# injectors and a 2.8 pulley. Most of the kits are cheaper than stage 2, and you get better power gains and the engine can more than handle it.

If you want some recommendations moving from stock, let me know.

thats only if you dont want a warranty anymore. id def go with stage 2, intake and exhaust. those are the first mods for msot ppl. some eventually go down to a 2.8 or 2.9 pulley (from the stage 2 pulley) but thats about it for having a safe car and a warrranty.

Of course, $5000+ later and he will have much better results than with a Stage II. I'm not saying that the only way to good performance is with a turbo, its just that his question was fairly open ended. He did mention that he wanted to "get the most HP out of this engine". In that case, he should ditch the M62. Of course, he was probably just refering to extracting power from the supercharger setup.
