i know everyone here says that not to go over a 75 shot, but do u mean on an SS or a 2.2LT cause a friend of mine said that the 75 shot is for an SS n that i should get like a 35 shot cause higher will mess up the car. What do u think about this?

Not advised to go over 50 on the SS, 75 on the 2.4 and 2.2.

so 75 wont harm my 2.2 in any way?

Can't exactly say that. However, many other 2.2L owners are using a 75 shot with no worries.

good rule of thumb is 20hp per cylinder should be your max without engine work.

i would guess it has something to do with the 2.0 already being stressed by the supercharger, the 75shot might be too much.
just my guess

the 2.0 can handle it its just not prefered unless you have a realy good background of n2o and tuning.

20 HP per cylinder on a wet setup is fine on most any car on the market.

straight from the GM Build Book

With a stock cobalt, the maximum nitrous jet you should use
is 75 hp. Nitrous Express offers a stand-alone kit which has
been tested and proven to work well. The Nitrous Express
Kit contains a single nozzle with a nitrous jet and a fuel jet.
Use a pressure tap on the production fuel rail for the fuel jet’s
supply. (Fig. 5)
