Ok so today My brother asked me what i wanted for christmas. My mom is finally letting him get me something for my car. So i have a GM stage 2 kit w/ stage 3 pulley, GMPP header, High flow cat, GMPP Exhaust Hurst shifter and i just bought a stiffy (not installed). He gave me a limit of 200 dollars. So im really new to the forum and really have no clue what i should get. If i had more time o would do some research but he needs to know tonight.

Its 179.99 and would look great under the hood and would stop the wheel hop (i think, but i have the stiffy so im not sure how the two would work)

I believe the mount would make it so you wouldn't need the TD.

I say get the engine mount and transmission inserts and pay the difference.

 

or perhaps a short shifter...although i dont believe one is really necessary on an ss/sc

 

Well i see that you have a progresive sway bar how do you like it?

The rear sway bar is awesome. I just figured that because wheelhop is such an issue for SS/SC's that you would want to fix that problem first before going with handling mods. There is really no bad mod on your list.

Yea i know that, im talking about wheel hop. i have a stiffy (not installed) and if i get tranny mounts will that get rid of wheel hop? (thats what i was trying to say sorry it didnt come out right) If it will then ill get the tranny mounts and sway bar.

 

Oh That makes sense.

If you have a new stiffy, install that and get the transmission inserts. They will help with the wheel hop as well.

Get the tranny mounts and the sway bar and it will be a very merry Christmas for sure.

Are your window's tinted?

 

My girlfriend got me the Progress rear sway bar and Prothane front/rear tranny mount insert bushings for Christmas.

 

not they arent. im not a fan of tint on windows. Call me boring but i think cars look better when you can see through the glass. ( with the exception of black cars they do look hot with the right tint.)

 

We are coming out very soon with a 1" diameter rear sway bar (25.4 MM)

Hold off on the sway bar and get the Turbo Tech Racing upper engine mount and the tranny bushings.

 

Well she already ordered them. New Edge Performance stocks both the Progress rear sway bar and both Prothane bushings, and they are in MD which is pretty close to me, so shipping will take no time at all. I dont really want the engine mounts b/c then i'll have to drop my Ingalls ETD, which I dont wanna do.

 

How much are we looking at for the rear sway? Pictures? lol. I will be have my brother order the bushings and mounts tonight. You guys got any deals like 10% off, Free shipping, ect....
