How much did your GM extended warranty cost?

1) What's your deductible--if any
2) What's your new coverage limits in years and miles/km
3) Comprehensive or powertrain
3) Cost

Considering it for my lemon mobile.

Mine came with 3yr/36k bumper to bumper 5yr/100k drivetrain. I extended to 5yr/100k bumper to bumper for about $1000 and some change I think it was like 1028 or something. Not sure if I will need it but I took it anyway. After the factory warranty it has a $50 deductible if I do not take it to a GM dealer but no deductible if I do.

huh. interesting. when i asked about warranties with my canadian g5, they said the cheapest first step option (from 3yr/60k km to 3yr/80k it was over $1500)... guess they were just trying to hose me.

Didn't get one seein as how it has the GM 5year/100k powertrain anyways. Plus I figure I can fix whatever else may break, not to mention I'm not sure how I'll have the car. Not that I plan on getting rid of it but I tend to be kinda impulsive in car buying.

extended warranty is such a rip off. you will still be paying out of pocket for repairs. and being that you're pretty much forced to take it to a dealer since you paid for your "extended warranty" the dealer charges more than a regular shop would. you'll find out that if you need a new strut or something, that the bolts that hold the strut are covered, but the actual strut is not. and on top of that you have to pay labor charges. such a scam. if you haven't bought it yet, i would strongly suggest not buying it.
