Pulley sizes

Just out of curiousity, what kind of performance gains are you guys getting from smaller pulleys. I have a stage 2 now.

general rule is you gain about 5hp for a 1/10th drop in pulley size. .1" is worth 1psi. of course this generality assumes the engine isnt heat soaked and your fuel system can support the extra boost.
most people put a 2.9" relatively safely on a stage 2. your current stage 2 pulley is 3.06"

get the 2.9 pulley...you will not be dissapointed...not just for the extra 5-10 horsepower the car runs soooo much better with it over just stage 2

just get the 2.9 to be on the safe side...some people say 2.85 is ok some say its not...the .05" less pulley is not worth the risk if you ask me
