what size tires

what size rims and tires will fit on ss s/c. i dont know much bout rims at all. i am lookin in buyin some motegies but idk if i want to get 18x7.5's or 18x8. the size tire for the 18x8's are 225/45/18 and the tires that are on there stock are 215/45/18. does anyone know if the 18x8's with 225/45/18 tires will fit on it without havin to do a spacer or somethin stupid. if someone has 18x8's and 225/45/18 how does it ride. it isnt rough or anything is it. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks PEACE!

I have 225/45/18 on mine. Fit perfectly. They have a little thicker sidewall then stock but not much at all. My stock speedo was off so this this make it right on. A lot of people run a 225/40 but that would have just made mine more off.

Is this with a drop?
I cant decide on 225/40 225/45 or if installation on stock wheel isnt hard the 235/40 which i would like have, just hope someone around would be able to get them on the stock rim.

right now im running with 225/40 and they fit fine, im sure the 225/45 will fill the wells a little better, but you couldn't go any taller. 225/50-18 will not fit, tire-rack says they will, my side skirts and front bumper say other wise.
