it's not like there's any point to removing it anyway. Unless you feel like sitting there revving the **** out of your motor in neutral like a *******. I hate kids that do that.

lol I hear ya. Navajoe has a point tho, why do you want to remove the neutral rev limiter? or are you speaking of the shift points? Those can be edited, I knw of two ways, one, a friend of mine cammed his 2.2 and when they installed it they modified all the shift points ( not quite sure how they did it, just know they did, I'll ask him if you want) the other way is I believe HP tuners does has some limited support for the 2.2 auto transmission. you may be albe to get this adjusted. Check with one of the vendors on the site who does tuning for further info on that.

you're better off putting it in 1st, holding the brake, and revving it to the stall limit to launch. Neutral drops will take out your tranny quick fast and in a hurry

imo it would be a waste to get headwork done since you can't really make use of it without some hotter cams. And you can't make use of some hotter cams without a way to raise the stock rev limiter.

Truth ^

"Not doing it often" doesn't mean jack ****.

I know a kid who bought a brand new car, and fucked the tranny over by doing it ONCE

Took him 24 hours to blow the torque converter right out the bottom of the car

kiss ur car goodbye...u could have the sweetest paper weight in the world. y do u want a better rev? buy a b&m shift plus. They're like 30 bucks i think? I know they r cheap and easy to install. It shifts harder and higher for u. 30 for the shiftplus>1500 for the tranny. Also, kiss ur tranny mount if u neutral slam it...stupid. thats worse than holding in the gas between shifts with a manual.

x2 bro haha

if u want a lil better launch hit the brakes and give it just enough gas to where she wants to take off so u can build rpms before taking off which makes u go through your first gear faster. I had a rev limit to 4000 on my mustang v6 2005 windveil blue it sucked hella hardcore
