Just installed GMPP Touring!

OH MY GAWD! It sounds amazing, i love it. it is not loud at all when driving normally, just a low note, but when you get on it whoo! it sounds soo good!! I love how its not too loud but you can still tell its not stock.. and another thing, it sounds deep as hell, and not that stupid loud fart can sound either! i may make a clip of start up and flyby since i was having trouble deciding on sport or touring..

if you are looking for a GMPP exhaust for your SS/SC, and want a great sounding exhaust but dont want a loud annoying grunt, then the Touring is for you, it was for me!!

BTW CrateEngineDepot is the king!!! thanks TOM!

I just think the touring is overpriced and if you want something quite why not keep the stock? Performance FTW.

its not quiet like stock, its just right for me. sport imo is too loud...i dont like being drowned out when i'm driving, which the sport does

plus i dont need a loud exhaust to make the cops look at me any more than they already do..

I really don't find the sport exhaust that loud in the car. I think it sounds great. It gets loud if you punch it but cruising 65 or 70, I can carry a conversation with people in the back seat with no trouble at all. You guys must have really sensitive ear drums or something...

It's not even close to stock sounding , you just can't hear it 5 blocks away. It's a great sound at idle and low rpm cruising , if you want it loud just press down on the gas pedal.

How many miles on your exhaust . When my performance exhaust got older , it got louder .

Damn it I really want a touring.. I think I'm going to have to put it on the Credit Card and just keep it around for a little while, not install it till I pay it off, etc, I just want it before the price skyrockets

I've got about 15K on the exhaust now. Its definitely louder than it was to begin with. To be honest the first time I head it I was a little disappointed with how quiet it was but now its much better. I still don't find it intrusive. With the windows up I can hear it a little but nothing that makes normal conversation hard. With the windows down its a bit louder but the wind noise drowns it out no problem. That is until I stomp it. It snarls at 4K WOT.

I got the touring one also and I love it! To me the extra $100 is worth it not to have a loud exhaust system BUT still have the same HP gain. To me quiet performance is worth the extra few bucks.

The guy at CED said I should have it in my arms by Thursday. He even hooked me up a little bit I think the total came out to like 500 bucks, shipped. Including the exhaust tip.

My factory tip is kind of fucked up a bit.. had a minor run in with a ditch, so I was gonna replace it anyway

And it was only 55 bucks for the tip.

how much is the price gonna go up? i was planning on waiting till around late march/april'ish to pick up the touring exhaust. wanted to 'save up' on my credit card for it and get all my exhaust parts at once. heh, i'm not really wanting to make a purchase now, but if its gonna go up a hundred or more....
