Well alot of people asked me if i can do a sound clip of my car with the zzp header/downpipe combo on the 2.5" stock ss/sc exhaust cat back..well i finally did it...hopefully it sounds good..sorry if quilty is bad..

not bad at all. I'm assuming there is a cat in the DP as well? also, did you opt for the 1.75" primaries on the header?

that intake looks bad ass by the way.

 

yes,1.75 on the header,highflow magna flow cat,3"downpipe with 2.5" bolt on exit,and stock 2.5" catback

also did i mention i bout the cold air for 45 bux with filter and everything

sounds good man. but it will sound better with a different catback
the stocker just doesnt do it justice

 

all other cat-backs sound to loud for my liking and also sounds like a honda..thats a NO NO to me

i hate the sound of our cars. they sound like wind-up toys /weed-eaters.

cant expect much more out of a 4 cyl.
its never gonna sound like a v8.

 

hmm i thought the stock ss/sc exhaust was 2.25"?

 

it is 2.5" until the rear axle. then it narrows to 2.25" before going up over the rear suspension.

 

true that...but you gotta admit an srt4 with a 3inch turboback exhaust sounds meannnn lol

 

my car doesnt sound like a honda, although i admit it is loud, it sounds very low with part throttle and full throttle until it hits 4000rpm which i beleive is where my cams start to change phase and it gets really loud then

 

thats the only part i need to change..went to a local exhaust shop and they told me 45 bux to change it to a 2.5"..so ill be doin that later in the week..also cant do wrong with a sleeper look..cant even tell i have a 12 sec cobalt..still stock exhaust tip,hahaha

 

wow, thats pretty loud for a stock exhaust with the ZZP header/ dp. sounds good though, cant wait to install mine.

did you get the headers with ceramic coating or high temp paint? is the ceramic coating worth the extra 120 bucks?
