DC Sports vs GM Performance Exhausts

I have the GM Perf.exhust on my SS/SC right now and a local guy has a DC Sports exhaust on his 2.2.. He is willing to trade me because he is trading his car in for another Cobalt. He says he is willing to trade me because I've been looking for a 2.5" exhaust for a while now. My question to you guys is would it be worth it to trade? Would it bolt up correctly?

A question for the folks that have a DC Sports exhaust on your SS/SC, hows the sound? Nice and deep tone? I want it to flow along with my ZZP header/DP. Thanks guys.

WHY.... don't do it! I never understood SS/SC guys going to 2.25" exhaust in the first place!

Keep the GMPP exhaust!

^ The GM Performance exhaust I have now is a 2.25". Reason I would trade is to go to a 2.5" bro.

I didn't think the DC was 2.5.... well if that is the case... get the DC then! I thought the DC was 2.25" as well!

If I'm wrong I appologize!

I'm pretty sure it fit's as most say cobalt exhaust's are universal across the board but it's weird how DC Sports never list the SS in the description , only ls lt 2.2 N.A. I can't find one that lists the SS Or even the SS/SC.

i don't see why it wouldn't fit seeing as the stock ss/sc exhaust fits the 2.2 n 2.4.

Why bother, just keep the GMPP,it probably sounds better, and has dyno proven results, plus you are not going to pick up much if any extra hp with the dc sports exhaust anyways at your hp level, just my $0.02. But then again i am a huge fan of the GMPP exhuasts!

So would it be worth it to swap for the 2.5" DC Sports?

If your going to keep doing performance work i'd say go for it . I love the GMPP touring sound but it has its flow limits . The rest of your exhaust is 2.5 , might as well make all of it the same .
