Got into my car today and was driving to school and my cel came on, car was running fine. I was gonna get my buddy to scan it to see why it was coming on, but at the end of the day i got in my car and the cel light flicked off after about 2 mins, anybody have a reason for this ( It was super cold out if that has anything to do with it)
Mod are Gmpp performance exhuast and AEM cold air intake
thanks Jamie

no. scan the code. if the car is running fine, and there's nothing that feels wrong, then it's nothing to worry about. if it comes back, get it scanned. also, the code is probably stored so you can most likely still hook up a scanner and see what the code is.
could be anything CEL's have a certain key cycle limit and then the shut off and get stored in the computers history. you would have to get it scanned and then i can give you the exact definition of the CEL
most scanners that the average person can get just tell you what the code is and thats it. you would have to get an expensive one that the dealers use with the latest updates for you to be able to shut the cel off permanently. there are a couple of little scanners that can clear it for you if thats what you mean
