diffrent fluid to stop clutch slip?

diffrent fluid to stop clutch slip?

i remember a while back that there was this guy that was going to put a diffrent brake/ clutch fluid into his car to stop clutch slipping. what ever happened? did it work?

I would think it would be DOT 4.

The fluid does not affect the clamping force of the pressure plate it is purely a mechanical limitation of the stock clutch.

after doing a complete brake/clutch system flush with Valvoline Syn Power DOT 3/4 fluid, my stock clutch came back stronger than ever. before the flush, it would never catch 2nd gear and would slip, but after we flushed out the system and refilled it with Syn Power it made a day and night difference
