Protecting Intercooler.

I have a 06 Cobalt SS/SC and after driving it for about 5 months now several of the fins on the intercooler have been bent by bug/pebble impacts. My question is what is the easiest way to straiten out the fins and protect the intercooler from this happening further? Ive thought of some kind of net, but I dont want it to look "oakiefied" so ive come to ask people of better knowledge and people who have most likely had this happen themselves.

do the billet grill. im doing both the top and bottom to protect my front mount heat exchanger. by the way thats not your intercooler

What about straitening the previously bent fins?

Unless there seriously f'ed up i would not worry about the bent fins. You should just get the SS/NA lower grill and be done.

They make a "radiator fin comb" to streighten the fins. It's really not a big deal but the comb works good
