just installed the c/a header and i turn on..boom CEL and then also on the DIC the coolant thing says COOLANT --F*

WTF..any ideas

 

did you bump, unhook or break your coolant temp sensor??? i know on the l61 its located on the water manifold on the drivers side, right bellow the header. not sure if they run 2 on the lsj, but i know there is one on the top of the head at the front by the fuel rail.

 

hmm i have no idea where they have it on the 2.4...but didnt sound like anything broke

 

I couldn't find the location in the chilton manual for the 2.4L, but here is the 2.2L and 2.0L locations. Hope it helps out. Being that it's basicly the same engine insofar as blocks go anyways it should be in the same location.

well i drove this morning to work...and it came back...ahh made my day when it came back on..didnt want to bring the car to gm..and but the car back to stock
