Wow! From a Moderator! Damn! I have the receipt to prove it was powder coated. It was in my car overnight and with the wonderful -2 degree weather we've been having there was a little condensation on the top.

For a bigger pic, you just clicky the picky.

Looks great. That's been on my list for a while, I just haven't been able to justify it since it doesn't do anything but look good...

so moderators can't make mistakes? he clearly said he thought you spray painted yours and he then stated it was his mistake. can't believe someone actually reported that post.

I have painted a few different colors. Like blue steel (zoolander hmmm, hmm) and Black. I always keep a spare vavle cover laying around in case anyone wants me to paint one so I can do it ahead of time without their car lying around in parts for hours.

If you like at the times we posted, I was typing while he apologized. And I apologize for my behavior.

Quick question... when changing the Valve Cover Gasket, can we use one for a 2003-2005 Ecotec 2.2L since it's the same motor? My local auto parts retailer don't carry any for the cobalt. He said it's too new of a car. lol

The valve cover gasket is made out of Rubber. It is totally reuseable. If you pull it out (it's held in by weak adhesive) be careful not to rip it. But I have taken them out before and reused them with ease. Don't buy a replacement unless you ruin your stock one.
