Hi, im new to this forum but very familiar with forums so, yes i am a noob, but what i want to know is what MP3 adapters are their for the 2006 Cobalt?? Does anyone know if Blitzsafe makes one? Are there any other Brands that make an MP3 adapter for the 2006 cobalt that plugs into an auxillary port on the back of the stock Head Unit? Is there even an empty Auxillary port on the stock Head Unit?

 

No port in the back sadly. So its not an easy fix. Im not sure what other options are out there. There is always the dreaded fm transmitter! which i think im gonna buy because radio in central florida sucks and I have a zune full of music.

 

My understanding is that there is a Pal interface for the iPod available from GM.... it is about 200 cdn the last time i checked which means it should be the same price in the states.... I'm not sure if it works for all years cobalt head units though... i think you would have to look it up... link below

if you look at the FAQ's for the iPod kit, it says 07 and 08's with certain radios...so i dont think it would work for the '06

 

i think the h/u from the 07 and 08 will work in the 05 an 06 model and they have the hook ups built in to them.. just find someone on here that has one they are willing to get rid of..
