Arrow Gauging Interest: Poll Insde Forged Pistons

the forged piston market for these cars pretty much sucks, $150 per piston is ridiculous. I just bought a set of custom forged pistons for my supra at retail for $420. that's $70 each for rings, offset pins, deep dish with long skirts to help with slap. my question would be, how many people would be interested in something like these for the cobalt if they could be bought for $100 or less per piston with rings/pins included?

The group buy price a few months ago for the supra set was $355 shipped for 6 pistons. so it should be less than $300 for a full set IF we get enough people

here's a sample of what i got, sorry the pics weren't clear, and i can't take anymore right now as the pistons are at the machine shop with my block. anyways, i would like to guage interest here to see if it would be worth my time to contact the company about making a few runs of these pistons for the cobalt.

If this happens I am not going to be selling them personally, i will get everything setup and have one of the vendors here do the business. The only part I want in on this, is to get myself a set of good pistons for a decent price.

THESE ARE MADE IN AND FROM AN AMERICAN COMPANY, NOT SOME CHINESE EBAY JUNK

... Yes!!!!

I should probably add though... you can currently get a set of Diamond pistons though TTR for about $380/set (no rings though). It's the two coatings that rack up the price (both Intense and TTR sell pistons with the coatings).

Edit:
What about 10:1, standard bore?

that's a great idea. would this be a one time purchase or something we could still get down the road?

updated first post with:

i paid $420 for mine because it was a single order from a 6 set run

the GB price would be alot lower of course, but i paid $75 more for my set than the GB price because there was only a small order placed

it's a good idea to get the block bored out if you're switching to forged pistons either way it goes, unless you have very low miles on the engine.
