Clutch Problems

So i was on my way to have my clutch installed and my car stopped moving. I know this my might be dumb question but is it normal to have that happen. I mean it was just like free revving in gear.

Thanks

yes, if the clutch came compleatly apart (which is verrry possible) then it would deff stop moving, it would be just like having the clutch in all the way.
