Vinyl door inserts and the top half of the door painted black for some accent. took all day and a lot of materials. requires A LOT of patience, if you dont have patience.. don't do this job...i pushed the limit and almost screwed up a few times.. heres the pic

looks great!! i painted the top portion of my doors as well, even the speaker covers to help break it up more. i'd love to try for recovered inserts but i know i'd screw up. i'm not a very patient person

i thought about doing the speakers but for some reason i decided not to, kind of slipped my mind, only thing that i messed up is when i pushed the handle plastic part back down in, it pulled on it some, causing it to bubble up slightly as you can see by the handle, i got about 75 percent of that to go down just a small portion is visible, even against the crazy amount of adhesive it moved! its too much work to go back and fix it so since its only the passenger side i wont worry about it for now.

yeah who cares about the passenger side i didn't even notice the first time but everything still looks great. those speaker covers were a pita to tape off then when i was done i took a bit of lacquer [sp?] thinner to 'em to get rid of overspray spots. i thought i was all cool until i noticed i had gotten some on the newly painted speaker so i had to paint it again. i wasn't a happy camper that day.
