A more expensive way of tiniting taillights is to get some PPG clear and mix black into it to get the desired darkness..Or you can just keep adding layers.

Why would anyone be interested in a MORE expensive way of doing this?

Make sure you keep an eye on that krylon paint bro... i tried something similar a few months ago which ended in disaster... the krylon paint his notorious for dimpling tail light plastic... which i found out the hard way... (and a traffic stop w/ a warning)

Pics:

you can barely see it due to the light, but the center got dimpled inward in a horrible traingular shape about 2 inches long and an inch and ahalf wide.

Maybe you should wire up your sidemarker lights in the back to your turn signals. (Unless you completely blacked those out, too...)

That could help some, and it wouldn't be all that hard.
