I have been looking for a blow off valve and cant get enough of the HKS SSQV bov, and it can be found on ebay for under 180 shipped which is awesome..

this video is pretty awesome.. the end if hilarious sounds like its about to sneeze at the very last 5 seconds.. pretty cool SRT4 though.

 

The first 2 sound much better. IMO the 3rd one somes dumb lol. But whatever you like is what matters!

I like the turbosmart supersonic, turbo xs, and hks ssqv.. those three sound really nice..

look at tial bovs also, i own both the tial and a ssqv, completely different sounds but both offer the best safety for your turbo

 

I love the sound of my Greddy Type-S on my Integra personally. The HKS SSQV sounds pretty damn good as well though.

to be honest i thought the last one was the worst by far. sounded like you have a bird tweeting under the hood.


the RS sounded the best to me.

 

BOV's should not be bought because of the sound they make, but rather for their main purpose, to eliminate compressor surge.

I just have the Mopar BOV on my srt and I love it...its loud enough to get everyones attention but not loud enough to be annoying...I dont like those high pitched BOVs...too import for me

 

i dont have the kit yet, i am saving up for the turbo and trying to pick out bovs.. i aint just geting it for the sound.. i want the most reliable and best one..

the ones i have my eye on have been:

HKS SSQV
Tial
turbosmart supersonic
Turbo XS RFL
Greddy Type S

You ask if its the high pitch i like, actually i like all there sounds, but i love the turbosmart sound the best but that and the tial are both around 300 bucks which is a lot, but if there that good id go with them...

plus with the hks one there is different inserts for sound and all.. I aint going to lie if i am gonna turbo i want it to be loud. Like the supercharger would you want it to be silent?? i wouldnt..

I heard the tial one on the rebel kit and it sounded very nice.. the reason i like the hks is the dual stage valve openings.. the low and high pressure valves..

Yeah at idle it was acting weird to other videos I watched. You can notice it on the pulls he does, and how fast it reacts.

 

well i got a pm from some guy offering me a brand new turbo xs rfl for a outstanding price that i cant refuse.. once i get money around june-july i am gonna snag that.. as thats the best price i have ever seen

 

why are srt guys so mean to there cars for no reason??

 

every srt i met was usually on there 2nd turbo on a stage 2 kit lol... then again most of them toast the clutch within a year..
