Heatshield on ZZP header and downpipe?

I just installed my header and downpipe and i was wondering if anyone else had a little trouble putting the stock heatshield back on?

Haha I bent the **** out of it so it would fit cause i didnt want it to melt anything. So it will be ok to just take it off then? Damn I am still repairing 2 busted up hands.

I did, I went got 1/2 inch bolts instead of the little ones that came with it.
