is there anyone around this area that can do a custom tune??? ill be needing one by the end of next month

 

well, I'm out in Charlotte.....what car do you have, mods?

 

Tried Godspeed? They have tuned a shitload of cars(mostly nissan) but I dont know if they do domestics. I would call Phantasm in Raliegh. Go to Importsnc.com/forums and ask around, there are some cool people there that can help you out.

 

by the end of next month mods will be .....front he, meth, 2.7 , 60#, cai, full exhuast and 05 ss s/c

Warning about phantasm.. i have heard they blow cars up. I havent seen any blow, so it could be bullshit rumors, but its just what ive heard..

 

anyone know what i could expect to pay taking it to a shop for the tune

 

maybe 300-400 dollars for a dyno tune at a shop is a good guess

 

They are all bullshit rumors, I have seen some beasts from there and most of my friends who are tuned have went there. Seriously, there are plenty of local performance shops on INC.

 

Another place to be weary about is H&H Performance in Fayetteville...they are mostly VW and STI but they can tune other cars too....but they will rip you off in a heart beat...a buddy of mine used to work for them and they ripped him off nearly 5grand and others up to 20grand....

Yeah I have never heard anything good of H&H... kinda like Slow Joe's IMO. Still the only tuners around here I would trust would be Billy's Automotive Racing Developement in Sanford, Project Auto Salon of Matthews, Phantasms of Raliegh, R&T Auto Werks of Aberdeen(Nissan exclusive), Intence Motorsports in Charolotte, and Godspeed here in Fayetteville(primarily Nissan). Anything else I either dont know or wouldnt bother with.

 

since i cant tune it myself... how much would they chage to replace the injectors and pully ??? or would it hurt the car if i changed that out and then drove the car up to the shop for a tune????? cuz i can do all that myself just cant retune it and id rather not pay for them to do **** i can do myslef
