Check all your fittings. You shouldn't be louder at idle.

Check, the fittings and make sure everything is tight.

Try cleaning your MAF sensor.

What kind of intake?

Car overall is going to be a lot louder.

And the K&N filter is probably getting oil on the MAF sensor. Go get an AEM dryflow and clean your MAF if you want piece of mind

The oiled filters from K&N should be fine. It's when you re-oil them that there is a bunch of oil getting on your MAF. I have a K&N CAI also and its generally louder but if you arent getting any CEL's then I wouldnt worry about it.

I have an LE5 SS not a LSJ

Seriously the car will sounds totally different with an intake on, that is common sense.

And what dude said in the last post is correct...your car is fine...as long as it isn't CELing at you
