intercooler pump question

i have my cobra heat exchanger mounted behind my grill instead of in the bottom opening. my question is do you think the stock pump is strong enough to pump liquid to that height???

you are fine only if the coolant reservoir is above the aftercooler, otherwise you cant get the air out of the coolant and the fancy cooler wont do the job

If there are people running cobra h/e and dual pass plus the stock one and the pump is strong enough for that i dont see why this would be any different.

not many people are upgrading the pump, the stock pump has enough power to run a second heat exchanger in pretty much any spot in the car, it probably won't help more than a couple in IAT2's degrees during runs having an aftermarket. i feel it may help more with a front mount heat exchanger though, i just got my front mount installed and will start logging IAT2's once it gets warmer and dryer out.

Just set the ERT Min to 0 seconds, and the HE Pump comes on when the key is turned to accessory. There are also options to set the fans to come on at earlier temps. I think 89 is the lowest, but it still helps. Just make sure not to set all the fields to 100%, I found the fans come on all the time if you do that.

No Prob. I've been using hptuners for a while now. If you need any assistance, feel free to ask.
