I've been talking with my buddy who has a heavily modded SRT-4 about the exhaust I want to get. I want to go with the Megan Racing cat-back but as everyone knows there is a huge backorder. Anyways, he keeps telling me to just get a muffler and take it to a local shop and have them do the piping. What would serve my purpose for performance better or would there be any difference? Sorry if this is a retarded question.

also ... would i need or have to do anything else if i want 3" all the way back? and 3" won't take away from performance, will it?

 

i wouldn't go with 3" unless you plan to push alot of hp out go 2.75 or 2.5 because your gonna loss some low end torque
