Hi,

My name is Ryan and I'm fairly new to the cobaltss site. My friend Josh has been coordinating meets/gatherings for friends and enthusiasts of his vehicle, much like we talk about the SS S/C, on another auto website for about 3 or 4 years now. I would like to maybe bring up the topic of a possible Cobalt meet somewhere in the south-east. I am from Florida, I go to the University of Florida in Gainesville and will be buying an either Victory Red or Arrival Blue Metallic Chevy Cobalt SS S/C sometime in February (providing the car is out by then) Everyone please let me know if you and others in your town who love Chevy, tuning, the cobalt, etc. would be interested in getting together to talk about the car and meet somewhere for the first ever Cobalt east-coast meet.

Orlando would be great for me, about an hour depending on traffic (Lakeland).

On I side note, I did spot a black SS on Pipken Rd. in Lakeland yesterday. I thought I was the only one in Lakeland, not no more I guess. But that black does look sweet, though. :-D

I'd be interested in a meet over in Orlando area. Gainesville is way to far of a drive for me.

We could always meet in Sebring, about as central as you can get. After driving the 1.2 mile main drag we can go cow tipping... :cssNET:

Personally, I think a Saturday in Orlando would be perfect. We could meet at Oldtown and check out the (classic) cars lined up there, then head where ever afterwards .
