i just bought an o6 ss s/c and already my girlfriends brother is talking **** and wants to race me. he has an automatic 98 gt mustang with high compression heads and exhaust. he raN A 14.9 quater mile at 95. hes talking like hes going to destroy me but i thought i would have the edge. any thoughts?

 

Run him from a dig and win.
Run him from a roll and destroy him.

stock ss/sc is good for atleast a 14.6 if you can drive..

 

Oh god you will murder him if you can launch and you WILL decimate him from a roll. Race him and get it over with.

 

Do the airbox mod and remove the spare and then laugh at him when he loses. (Make sure you do the driver mod 1st!)

 

Race him and shut him up! Make sure you ease into the throttle in 1st as you work your up to WOT when you launch so that you don't spin and hop. That'll beat him easily.

I used to have a 1998 Mustang GT. Full bolt-ons and cams and i only ran a 14 flat. What a POS that was. lol. Basically, he is going to get his butt hurt pretty badly.
