Because I currently commute in a 1997 saturn. I want something that doesn't suck.

Haha. I might know a guy. He's a multi national SCCA Solo champion. Has a black LNF Sedan that he's looknig to sell. Interior is a little rough, but not bad, just looks like it's been dailied. I'll hit him up and see what he wants for it.

Mostly. Drivetrain is stock. Has a muffler, and aftermarket shocks with stock springs, if I'm not mistaken.

If you're not willing to pay that then you're not going to find a clean, all stock sedan.

I'm not willing to pay money like that when a better car can be had for that money.

I get that better is subjective. But more room, less issues, more options, nicer interior.

There are 15 of these cars within 1500 miles that can be bought and driven home home for less than 17k... Most less than 15k

I drove a speed 3 before I got my SS and it had a nice interior. When I layed into the throttle at 30mph and it changed lanes I was done with it. My SS has hardly any torque steer. Speed 3 was ridiculous. I'm sure you could upgrade the suspension and make that better. I'm old and just couldn't bring myself to buying a small station wagon verses a 2 door as a "sporty" small car. To each his own.

I very much doubt he wants $17k. It's not mint, and it has like 70 or 80k miles on it. That's the only bad thing about the sedans, is they tend to run more, because they are rather rare. You could always pick up a 2.4 "SS". I think there is one in Everett with a 5 speed for around $7K. Obviously, it's no SS/TC, but they are peppy, and handle reasonably well.

Are you looking for stock? And does it have to be a 4 door? If not, does it have to be a turbo Cobalt. I know a dude trying to get rid of his modded Ion Red Line. Made like 257whp.

You must have a lot of free time on your hands if you can go 1500 miles to check out cars.

I have lots and lots of free time. I'm also not willing to settle when I buy a car.

Frenchy, tc, prefer 4 door, must be stock.

I'm in the market for a car, not just an ss/tc. I mostly came here to research them.

I'm not that young, but I love wagons and hatches. And when I drivre the speed3 the torque steer didn't bother me.

That super low mile sedan is still listed for sale. They've come down a tiny bit. Still too much money though IMO.

It is probably the cleanest low mile sedan available anywhere though.
