Exclamation Rim Cleaning Please Read!!!!!!!!! Important!!!!!!!

ok i have seen threads about rims etc getting messed up after cleaning etc or turing black and so fourth.

plese read and listen as your wheels can be runied
all cobalts except the ones with the plastic bolt on hubcaps are aluminum. The ss/na is polished aluminum. The ss/sc is painted aluminum. Please when cleaing your wheels with cleaner make sure it is not for chrome wheels make sure it is safe for aluminum, polished aluminum, or painted aluminum. You do not have chrome. chrome cleaners can ruin your wheels. Meguiar's Hot Rims is what i use and works great and wil not harm your wheels. http://www.autobarn.net/noname1.html

please make sure when buying wheel cleaner you check to be sure safe for aluminum and also check for polished or painted if it applys cause some are safe for aluminum but not polished

i got them from safeway, but i think most grocery stores should have them. it worked great with my old 2.2 with painted machine-faced aluminum but now with the polished aluminum i think im gonna get some proper cleaner for it.
