Synapse Turbo... Making the LSJ intake manifold...
I didnt really read all of the first post i just assumed people wanted a simple turbo swap manifold.. my bad.. and to who ever told me the injectors are in the head.. thanks i had no idea, i though they were in the turbo somewhere, at least i know that the fuel pump is located right after the muffler
Just curious, why does everyone keep saying that? There are already a bunch of options which are all pretty much the same anyway... Why do people keep asking?
The reason people think air to air setups are better is becaue turbos use air to air. And turbos create more hp then sc in our cars.
The heat created from the Eaton is way more then the heat created by a turbo. I think IAT2 temps would increase with an air to air setup on the LSJ with the small pullies we run.
And when people post this pic it is the biggest failer of all.

From the research I could find they are only pushing 8psi on that setup. That is less then stock for us. And our water to air setup is efficient at that boost/heat level.
The problem does not lie within the Intake manifold. The problem lies in the small pullies that we like to run that takes the M62 out of its efficency range.
There are no benefits for the LSJ with the power adder we use. The water to air setup in the LSJ is way more efficient then most air to air intercooler setups for the amount of heat created by the Eaton.

sorry for trying to give a vendor an idea. I have a new idea, why don't we go back to the old flathead v8 days instead of trying new things cause they possibly won't work.
also, you THINK or do you know that iat would increase with going from the stock im to a air/air one?
... that Lotus setup indeed is shitty.... however... remember that it is a mid engine car... very little air flow back there to properly cool the charge.
With a properly sized core, there is indeed significant advantages over the stock cores.
