i wouldnt buy springs off ebay. some dude on this site bought some knock off eibachs from ebay and they broke cause they where hollow inside.

I first went with GM Stage 2 and the diff from stock was crazy. Though switching from GM STG2 to OTTP STG1 has the same feeling. The OTTP kit has more potential because if you decide you want more with GM you have to buy injectors again/whatnot. I wish I went with OTTP instead of the GM kit at first.

You should be a drivers race with a bone stock TC in the GM kit and beat one in the OTTP kit. With the OTTP kit you can beat STOCK EVO's from a roll only.

Already buy it? I don't think it (OTTP kit) was out when I bought my SC. If it was I didn't know about it.

and i dunno bout a straight stage 2 SC beating a stock TC. i was making 264whp and 232 tq with the stage 2 2.9 and modded stage 2 map and i only pulled a stock TC by 1.5 lengths

It still close enough that if the TC isn't a good driver or makes any mistake that it can edge it out. It's more than just peak power also. The SC has a better power band, more agressive gearing and higher redline.

 

i had a custom stage 2 map. thats the only reason. i also have zzp header and down pipe and 3" catback. and a intake.

 

thats one thing i noticed about the ss/sc our 3rd gear is an absolute beast

 

well if its from a roll then a stage 2 car wont win unless the TC driver has absolutely no skill. and i know about the the power band, i had that band and still barely pulled one. this was from a roll btw. about 55mph

i rather enjoy 2nd

 

its cool i ordered the stage 2 so ill just stick with it

yea i mean if you want to drop pulley sizes you can always go to the 2.9, which with a good tuner can make good power, thats all i had.

 

now i can actually hand around with my cousins chipped mk5 gti

Don't worry you will be happy with it for awhile, just don't be surprized if later on you wish you went OTTP. I had the same problem.

 

those mustangs dont have dick stock. its fun to play with them
