We've received the new version of Aeroforce Interceptor Scangauges for the 05-07 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged. (Aeroforce Scangauges for the 05-09 2.2 Cobalt, and the 08-09 Cobalt Turbo will be in stock shortly!)

These have the exact same functionality as the previous gauges, except now they are offered with interchangeable faces! Now, you simply purchase ONE gauge, and you get a black bezel and a silver bezel, as well as a black face and a silver face! This way you can make whatever combination of face you want within seconds!

So, we decided to snap a few photos to show how easy it is to swap the faces.

Heres where you start. A complete gauge with bezel and face.


Simply unscrew the bezel counterclockwise, and then remove the bezel, clear shield, and face.


Then, install the new face, clear shield, and the bezel of your choice. Presto! Within seconds youve changed the look of the Aeroforce Scangauge!


As you may have noticed, the faces are now customizable with SS logos on the face. Here is what the gauges look like with the new SS logo faces.

Damn where were these when I got mine. Is there a way to buy just the faceplate?

When you turn the gauge on, doesnt it fire up and say ss on it? Or did the old ones do that?

 

We are told the faceplates will not work on the older versions of Scangauges.

We only stock them in red, to match the factory gauge lighting.

I dont think the old ones would. The new ones, through the menu system can start up with the SS electronic logo.

 

Soo no plates for the Ion Redline I suppose....

I have the newest Aerofoce gauge out. And I want a Saturn plate!

They could put the Saturn symbol, pretty sure their is enough room for that.

Sorry, took a while to get a response. We havent heard of any work being done to make any Saturn faceplates. Evidently there hasnt been much demand from Saturn owners.

 

That's because there was never an option for it, although there was an option for the Saturn logo at startup. So did they say they are NOT going to?

bump for an answer about the TC and 2.2/2.4 gauges

ZZP sells them as two different models too (PT and CN models) so these guys might be right.... i think that the interchangeable face plate only works on the newer PT models (SS/SC only)... so we have to wait for the aeroforce to come out with a PT model for our cars
