Jeremy, have you tried contacting somebody at Jiffy Lube to see if they have a current address, just in case the kid has the oil changed there? Also, what about Carfax? Just some thoughts I'm having. Thought I'd share them out loud.

As for Virginia, it sucks out here. I actually miss Utah. Some good news though, Kim and I closed on our house today. The mortgage is ridiculously awesome. $1442/month for a $225,000 loan at 4.75%, includes property taxes and home owner's insurance (amazingly cheap price of $36/month). We started moving a few things in today. The majority of the stuff arrives Friday. The coolest thing is that we have a protected forest right on the other side of the backyard property line. No neighbors to deal with behind us!!! This evening, after unloading the first trip of stuff I went into the backyard. There were 2 rabbits there. They ran back into the forest before I could snap any pics. Kinda reminded me of Utah. Todd, when you come out here we will have a bbq, or something. You'll only be about 30-45 minutes away when you go to Ft. Eustis.

I am, but why the **** should it matter? There, a Mormon broke the swear word rule. You all can rest much easier now.

Btw, Kim and I moved into the house we bought last week. If anybody wants to go to the Outer Banks feel free to hit me up. We got a 3 bedroom house. We only need 2, so that means you can stay here if you want when you come out. The guest bedroom is mostly furnished too. Just need a dresser, but a queen sized bed with full bedding is available. We are less than 2 hours from the Outer Banks.

I bet you're LOVING it!! Much bigger than the place in Sugar House district. Found out my car is in Ogden and the kid wants WAY too much for it. Wants loan price (2k over book) PLUS whatever he put into car. (Switched Injen CAI to K&N for some reason -- 200 bucks...fender repair@ 1000 dollars when he could have gotten a panel off ebay for 95, and 1000 for a touchscreen stereo system that I wouldn't even want in the car). So I might have to pass on my old car and find a suitable local SS/SC or one on here. Would be looking for an orange G85 SS/SC, 2006 model year..at or below book.

Switching jobs. I start trucking school @ the local comm. college on July 31 and my paid internship/OJT in November. DOMIN8...Curtis from RME should be happy with this one, as it's what he does (last I knew). CDL's a pretty quick way to decent money.

Just be sure you can get a job lined up. I moved to VA and I'm not even using the cdl. Too many driver's, not enough jobs.

As for the house in VA, it's more than double the size of the place in UT. ~1700 square feet v. ~700 square feet.

Here's an orange SS/SC. Doesn't have G85 though. http://des-moines.carsoup.com/used/d...=1&certified=0

This one says traction control. I wonder if it meant LSD? http://des-moines.carsoup.com/used/d...11&certified=0

no prob man, good lookin out--this college guarantees job placement before graduation with a local carrier. Plus out here, there's way more trucking companies and job openings than there are drivers. I don't know why though..pay's pretty decent. Maybe some don't want to be away from home. The goal is to do a year OTR and transfer to a grain co-op truck, Coca-Cola or Anheuser-Busch Route. That's about twice the cash and home every nite. Problem is, they won't take anyone without 6 months experience as a minimum.

SWEET, I'll check those listings out! I hadn't thought about carsoup...there wasn't jack on craigslist or autotrader. Everything was non-G85. And definitely not orange. I can go without the Recaros, but just can't go without the LSD in the winter.

G85 means you get both. However, you could get a non-G85 and install the open diff yourself. Quaife is the manufacturer of the diff. I think you can get it from TurboTechRacing. If not, contact Quaife.

It may help... Exclusive cars has a yellow ss/sc on their lot but I haven't stopped to take a look at the price....

Also there is an 09 ss/tc at quality chevy in tooele... only problem there is that it doesn't have LSD (that I can find) and they don't seem to willing to work a deal on it.... but it has been there for a couple of months now....

Hey fellas, I'm currently in Ogden and I spotted a silver SS/SC factory looking and a black SS/SC with powdercoated stockers. Anyone on here?
