Yeah..I'll be coming back in July with my shitbox 99 Escort. Free car, all I had to do was swap the old blown engine with a used salvage engine.
Really do miss my SS/SC though...wish I could track down who owns it and buy it back. Those recaros and that LSD were to die for.

It has the only Outlaw Maverick gunmetal wheels ever fitted to a Cobalt. I keep applying for government jobs...eventually I'll land one so that I'll be able to get my old car back. That is...if the new owner hasn't trashed it yet. I really do miss those Recaros and LSD.

I have 2 SS/SC's one is black non G85 and the other is silver with G85 and a ton of other mods and I love it to death. I've had a cobalt SS since they first came out. I have lived back and fourth between Utah and Washington my whole life. Nice to meet you to xravenwingsx.
An SS/SC without LSD/Recaro is no way to live...I'm sure you'll agree after driving both.
Now, I would like to test drive an SS/TC to make a comparison. I won't buy a turbo, but I'd like to experience it. I miss the whine of a supercharger.

In the effort to get my car back...I'm calling it Operation REPO. Hehe. You know...being military and all.
Anyway, got in touch with the dealer who sold my car (to a 17 yr old kid no less) and he gave me the contact info. Hopefully it's still in one piece after the kid driving it for a year...and hopefully I can secure funding. The mother of the kid said she might be willing to sell it back. I assume she's not too happy with his driving habits. As Connor/domin8 can tell you...a lot was done to that car.

assuming that the kid put minimal miles (45k total, i sold it with 36.6k for $15,500) and it isn't destroyed...I should be pretty much stealing it back @ 11k for fair condition.
