To all, every car is different, powerbands, mod list, tunes, the conditions at the track, how the car will respond, they are all different. It's going to take some testing on a few different passes to find the right tire pressure and the right launch technique to get it.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions

Like everyone else is saying, DR's are in-between street tires and slicks, which is a good thing. I wouldnt launch from that high of an RPM, it just isnt worth it I dont think, unless you know exactly what you're doing. Your local track might be good for practice, but I wouldnt expect the same results from Atco. My Brother runs consistent 8.9's at our local track, and today at Bowling Green he ran consistent 8.6's, on the same setup, except losing boost in 2nd and 3rd. Results will very from track to track. Report back with some good times, and good luck.
Will the stock LNF clutch hold a quick slip, followed by the traction of the DRs with that much tq? Or will the heat from the quick slip be just enough extra strain on it to have it slip for half of the run?

Well I dont slip the clutch but it has held up fine to the slicks so far.
