Eh I was happy with it considering... I mean the power was there for about 2 seconds... ha ha ha then just slipped into nothing.

I mean you gotta think 312whp on 12 psi.... **** 20psi is where my MBC was set to... so HIGH 300's low 400's would have been there.

So... it puts down power, yes. BUT, it also uses the stock manifold with an adapter, which is quite the restriction.

And yes, Dave is apparently quite the tool (pun intended if anyone knows his background). I haven't had issues with him, since i have ordered 2 things from him (BPV spring and HPTuners). But i have heard numerous stories on here and a bunch of other places. Oh, and God forbid you know something he doesn't, cuz then you're dead wrong. No, I don't have a problem with him.... ok maybe a minor one?
Does anyone make a bolt on manifold for the 2008-09 SS TC ?

it's pretty pieced together... custom charge pipes, custom intake (using the stock box), ETS intercooler, Synapse Intercooler, PTE GT2871r, custom turbo elbow and downpipe. Hallman boost controller, yadda yadda yadda

Synapse and WERKS do, I am not sure if ZZP's is released yet, but I think they are making one too.

the stock LNF/LSJ sleeves are rated for 1000hp (as per GMPP), they are the same sleeves used for Ecotec Race Engine Block (#88958630).. the sleeves im getting are rated up to 1800hp..

^^ and if what redstarpa69 says is true, why even bother upgrading the sleeves? it seems like we're a long way off from maxing out a 1000hp rating in the LNF at this point

The sleeves are NOT good to 1000hp... if so they wouldn't be breaking at 300ish WHP.

I'm the guinea pig for this kit. It's sitting in my living room waiting to be installed in a week or so. It's going in my HHR SS.

Trifecta will be doing my tuning, I'm pretty happy with them. My current tune is with them and I'm putting down 315 WHP and 388 WTQ on the stock turbo.

I think 23 psi., but I'll figure that out as start bustin sh*t up.

The instructions seem ok to me, they really don't hold your hand, but I think they are good enough to get the job done.

You'll need a lift and you will be loosening motor mounts and crap, so if your not ready for that you best find a shop.

Yeah, Yeah I ain't no pus, fuch it, I'm doing it my self. LOL

Nah Man, I rather have a tuner shop hit this one, I'm too busy making money and don't have time to mess with this right now, but that's not to say I might change my mind and hit it myself. THere is nothing like the feeling of knowing you did it yourself as long as you don't wind up pinned under the car with the engine on your forehead.

Aye, does anyone know a trusted Tunner Shop in DC/MD/VA metro area??

Try CPe. I know they really only deal with MazdaSpeeds, but they might have some good resources, or tackle the project themself.
